Hey everyone! Today I?m excited to announce a project that has been in the works for over a year. Long ago in the dark ages before Pinterest, I was bookmarking DIY tips and tutorials on my computer to keep track of all the cool ideas or helpful information I wanted to refer to in the future.
From time to time, I?d link to a few on the site, and those infrequent features led to regular series you all know as the Best of the Blogosphere. Problem was, as time went by, the features were getting buried under more recent posts, and I was getting way too many emails about projects featured in the past. Cue the necessity for a well cataloged library of all that amazingness!?
Now that Pinterest exists, I include many inspiring ideas in my DIY Inspiration board, but I wanted to create a library dedicated to home improvement and interior decorating ideas. Pinterest is great, but often research leads to a bad source or no source (grrrr), so I decided to gather up all my favorites in a reliable spot.?
Today I?d like to introduce you to the Best of DIY site ? a place where I?ve gathered over 1,000 excellent tutorials and tips in one organized place. The categories range from home improvement to crafting to fabric projects and include outdoor ideas too. Drop down menus make searching by category easy.
?
Here?s the best part ? all of the galleries link to original sources which take you the right place in one click of your mouse ? bookmark or Pin from the original source of brilliance as you please.
Some of the galleries are small for now (like Fall and Christmas Decorating), but as those holidays approach there will be plenty more ideas to browse ? I?ll be sure to let you know when they?re packed with more inspiring blogger projects. Feel free to email us through the contact form to submit your projects for consideration to be featured, or if you know of an amazing DIY tip you?ve seen elsewhere, send it our way!
I have to give a great big shout out to my assistant in this endeavor ? you all know Amanda who helps me scout the BOTB links. She has worked tirelessly behind the scenes for months to assist me in uploading all of this information. We?ve emailed back and forth and finally organized all of this DIY goodness in one place. Thank you Amanda, I couldn?t have done this without you!!!??
The new site is a really great resource and I see it as a way to continue to promote all of you ? have fun exploring Best of DIY ? I encourage you to come back often because we?ll be uploading a dozen or so links a week of the best ideas from around the web. The ?Best of the Blogosphere? series will continue, but now you know where to find all the goodies!?
Enjoy browsing the galleries ? and have a great weekend!

He was a splendid military gambler, dominating the problems of supply and scornful of opposition?? His ardor and daring inflicted grievous disasters upon us, but he deserves the salute which I made him ? and not without some reproaches from the public ? in the House of Commons in January 1942, when I said of him, ?We have a very daring and skillful opponent against us, and, may I say across the havoc of war, a great general.?
He also deserves our respect because, although a loyal German soldier, he came to hate Hitler and all his works, and took part in the conspiracy to rescue Germany by displacing the maniac and tyrant.?For this, he paid the forfeit of his life. In the sombre wars of modern democracy, chivalry finds no place ? Still, I do not regret or retract the tribute I paid to Rommel, unfashionable though it was judged.

No drama, no second thoughts, no controversies. If there?s a word to sum up the awards that will be handed out for the 2012-13 NBA season, it?s ??clean.??
MVP: LeBron James, Miami Heat ? The all-around best basketball player on earth, ever. From last season to this season, he added a stronger post-up game and erased the perception that he didn?t have the clutch gene. James can legitimately play four positions, as well as defend four positions, and there are very few better passers in the game. Runner-up: Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers ? Anthony Davis made an argument late in the season, but from start to finish, no rook did it better than Lillard. He is a scoring point guard who already has the pick-and-roll game mastered at the NBA level. He can break defenders down off the dribble and strike from outside the three-point line. Runner-up: Davis, New Orleans Hornets.
SIXTH MAN: Jamal Crawford, Clippers ? An assassin off the bench who?s focused on one thing: making your defense look bad. Crawford is the closest the Clips have to a finisher from the outside and will have to be a factor in the playoffs if they want to challenge. Runner-up: Jarrett Jack, Golden State Warriors.
COACH OF THE YEAR: Tom Thibodeau, Bulls ? Take James, Chris Bosh and Ray Allen away from the Heat for an extended period of time and see how they do. That?s basically the hand Thibodeau was dealt this season with all the Bulls? injuries, and yet they are fighting for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Runner-up: Mike Woodson, New York Knicks.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Andre Iguodala, Denver Nuggets ? If George Karl is comparing Iguodala to former Seattle SuperSonics point guard Gary Payton, that says it all. Runner-up: Serge Ibaka, Oklahoma City Thunder.
? Poor Jay-Z. One of the brightest minds in the rap game has to watch one of the dumbest teams in the NBA. Quite the Brooklyn story.
? What did we learn at the ceremony to retire Shaquille O?Neal?s number? Add 24 and 8 together and they?re still not greater than 34. Sorry, Kobe Bryant.
Player of the week
Carmelo Anthony, Knicks forward. Since getting his knee drained, Anthony has started to play more like the ?Melo of old, averaging 31.4 points over his last nine games entering Friday. But throwing up 50 against the Heat on Tuesday and then 40 the next night against the Hawks ? that was special.
Team of the week
Knicks. Beating the Heat without Dwyane Wade and James was sort of empty, but the Knicks came back the next night and beat the playoff-bound Hawks in Atlanta to win their 10th consecutive game and take control of the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.
The big five
1. Heat. 2. Thunder. 3. San Antonio Spurs. 4. Nuggets. 5. Knicks.
Big number
90Combined points by Anthony in wins over the Heat and Hawks as he shot 35-for-53 (66 percent) from the field. Guess who?s preparing for the postseason?
Key games for week of April 8-14
Spurs at Nuggets, 9:30??p.m. Wednesday. The Spurs have been trying to dig in and keep the top seed in the West, but having to play in Denver won?t help their chances.
Knicks at Bulls, 7 p.m. Thursday. Considering the physical way the Bulls have beaten the Knicks twice in New York this season, expect an intense showdown.
Bulls at Heat, noon next Sunday. The Bulls spoiled the Heat?s chase of history by ending its 27-game win streak last month. The Heat could be looking to send a message before the playoffs start.

In the current scenario, mobile wireless connectivity has become a necessity rather than an advantage. Numerous people out there every day rely on their wireless communication devices like cell phones and laptops to handle business and personal tasks. Wireless connectivity has also altered the dynamics of workforce mobility and working environment. Thanks to mobile wireless communication a user can work from any location.
?
Wireless communication connectivity can be achieved by using the Internet or data cards. Wide Area Networks of large business centers and educational campuses also provide wireless communication capability. Different mobile service providers offer wireless web connectivity to smart phones and PDAs that can be used anywhere, anytime. With wireless connectivity you can communicate with people and not have to have wires or cables.

With its power you can reach customers and clients anywhere in the world for your business.
?
Professionals, students and workers no longer have to be limited by cable dial-up connectivity and Internet connections. Mobile wireless communication enables people to complete projects and assignments from any location and improve their productivity.? Business are able to hold conferences and communicate important projects and deadlines to anywhere on the globe.
Medical centers and hospitals in remote parts of the world need their doctors and staff to be able to connect with people in larger areas, this is available with wireless mobile communications. It is very useful in emergency situations where medical tools and services may be needed from urban areas. It also helps people in extreme areas access emergency services when needed. Volunteers of non-profit organizations, wildlife photographers and explorers need wireless communication to stay connected to the world outside.
?
Mobile wireless communication allows people to watch their favorite TV shows like soap operas and reality programs anytime. Many entertainment websites have been developed and offer to the users? movies, television programs, and music files. It is able to provide users with all kinds of digital entertainment on-demand.
?
In some areas this type of technology is the only way for people to communicate. Many offices prefer having a cell phone number for their office rather than a landline. Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) April 04, 2013 - For The Growth Coach, 2013 is shaping up to be a great year. After being named the #1 Business Coaching/Consulting franchise by "Entrepreneur Magazine" in January, the company was just recognized in the same publication?s April issue as a Top Home-Based Franchise. Without retail or office space necessary, these select and honored franchises tend to be more affordable, have much lower overhead costs, and are simpler to operate.
"Entrepreneur Magazine" said the Top Home-Based Franchise list is based on the data from Entrepreneur?s Franchise 500 ranking, which comes out at the beginning of each year. Amy Cosper, Vice President and editor-in-chief of "Entrepreneur," said the companies who make the Franchise 500 are recognized for their ability to satisfy customers, create jobs, and grow overall.
?The ranked franchises are the ones whose business models are working best ? and are a major force contributing to the franchise upswing,? Cosper said in January.
?The Growth Coach, a business and sales coaching franchise, is a fairly simple business to operate as an owner ? it?s low cost to purchase and run, there?s a potential for high margins because there is no cost for goods sold, no employees are necessary, and it?s perfect for someone who wants to be self-employed and control their own schedule. And best of all, there are no hassles, headaches or stress related to managing employees or meeting payroll,? said Dan Murphy, Growth Coach CEO and Founder.
The Growth Coach was founded in 2002 in Cincinnati and is the only pure coaching franchisededicated to helping clients optimize success and growth in business while maintaining the balance between work and life. The company is currently in more than 140 markets and is always looking to grow into new locations. Coaches typically work with business owners, executives, managers, sales people and self-employed professionals.
Mark Eldridge, who opened The Growth Coach in Omaha, Nebraska in 2004, knows the biggest benefit to a having a home-based business is low overhead ? especially in a coaching business, which doesn?t require an office at all.
?In this business, there is no need to spend a lot of money on expensive office space. Personally, I prefer to meet somewhere other than my office or my client?s office. By doing so, most outside distractions are eliminated. I think the client or prospect is also more at ease meeting somewhere other than an office,? he said. ?It?s been an enriching journey for me and being able to help people with both their businesses and their lives is personally and financially rewarding.?
Starting any business can be challenging, but new Growth Coach owners are able to start coaching immediately after training without having to worry about opening an official office, hiring additional staff members or committing to evening and weekend hours.
In addition to one-to-one coaching service, The Growth Coach also specializes in group workshops for multiple clients at a time, including business owners, groups of managers and teams of sales professionals. Murphy said group workshops have the potential to create tremendous financial leverage for his franchise owners while at the same time making valuable coaching services more affordable to clients. Growth Coaches don?t have their incomes restricted by merely providing one-to-one services like so many others coaches or consultants do, who simply swap their time for money. Group coaching allows our franchise owners the opportunity to serve multiple clients at the same time, provide tremendous value, and make substantial income, he said.
Five years after opening The Growth Coach in northern California, Mike Neuendorff said the ability to be a business coach without a physical location really helped him get off the ground.
?Being a home-based franchise allows you to step right in and start working with clients. You can do this job from anywhere and be successful,? he said. ?It?s really common for business meetings to happen at a third party location, so I never ran into any issues with not having an actual office.?
Neuendorff said those who may be considering opening their own Growth Coach franchise should know three things about the company:
?Number one: The person who founded The Growth Coach is still part of the organization and is still hugely involved in guiding the company and helping the owners. Number two: The strength of the community. The Growth Coach has spent a lot of time fostering an atmosphere that allows us all to work together. And number three: The materials are all well thought out and thorough and the company continues to improve on the products and workshops. No one is resting on their laurels,? he said.

One does not simply pull an iPhone whole from the void and birth it in a single day. As anyone involved in the design, development, and manufacturing of iPhone-class products will tell you, it takes a long, long time and roadmaps typically stretch out over years. So, it comes as little surprise that the next two generations of iPhone, likely including an S-type update to the current iPhone 5, began under the direction of Steve Jobs. Still, given Jobs legacy, hearing it reaffirmed again seems to make many people happy. Which brings us to Mike Aldrax's report in the San Francisco Examiner:
[District Attorney George Gasc?n] said the next two generations of iPhones have already been developed.
?They preceded Tim Cook,? the district attorney said he was told of the future iPhones.
The reason a San Francisco district attorney is being sourced is because of his office's ongoing investigation into stolen mobile devices.
To say that Steve Jobs having a hand in these products isn't important is saying his involvement with Apple wasn't important, which is lunacy. Someone of his universe-denting talents having a hand in anything is amazing. However, Jony Ive on design and Tim Cook on logistics, Bob Mansfield on radios and chips, and the rest of the team no doubt contributed from the beginning as well, and will be there to adapt them to ever changing market conditions, and eventually shepherd them onto store shelves.
Eventually the ball gets handed off, and the team runs with it. That's how this stuff works. Still, it's nice to know Steve Jobs was there for these products, at least in the beginning, right?
