Wind, Solar, and Other Renewable Energy Projects in the Community

As another Minnesota winter approaches, our thoughts naturally turn to energy and sustainability.? Just in time for winter, Dr. Jim Dontje is presenting a talk about the various Renewable Energy Projects in place across the Gustavus Campus.? Jim is the Director of the Johnson Center for Environmental Innovation which serves as a focal point for campus and community environmental stewardship efforts.
From solar heat to wind turbines, come find out what the campus and community are doing to have a smaller carbon footprint and tap into renewable energy.? Jim will be speaking at 9:00 am on Friday, November 16th at the Interpretive Center of the Linnaeus Arboretum.? Refreshments will be served.? No reservations are required.?
